I really wished I knew anything about Keats or poetry. I'm enjoying the book, but I know I'm missing, I don't know, half the damn story.

I'll give the book one thing; it did manage to shock me on the first page. The bad news is it did so by describing "an America made prosperous" by measures such as banning immigration of Jews and creating a "negro state of Suanee". Yikes.
Then I got halfway through, and now I want to warn you about it.
